Banana Bread

Banana bread is not bread! Just called so because it’s baked in a loaf tin.

Super easy to make, zero fuss and even the kids can get involved. Perfect rainy day baking.

Ingredients

2 cups plain flour

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

4 ripe bananas

1/3 cup milk

1 tsp lemon juice

Method

Blend all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl! How easy was that?!

Line a loaf tin (this is probably the hardest part!) and pour the liquidy batter

Bake at 180°C/356°F for 70mins. Check with a skewer to see if the skewer comes out clean.

Allow to cool completely before enjoying for tea.
